Wind Turbine Electricity - An Alternative Energy Solution Now And In The Future

The magnet rotor is not used to turn anything it spins about a magnetic alternator which in turn creates a magnetic field. When the magnetic field goes over the wires of the alternator, an electrical charge is produced. The electrical charge that is produced is carried into a regulator that converts the natural electricity into DC power for home use.

Now you have had a crash course in how a wind turbine works, you can imagine the potential. As you see it is a bit more complicated than one might first realize. It is however quite simple at its core. Harnessing the wind for energy use has been around for a long time. In days past it was used to turn wheels for different types of uses such as running a saw at a saw mill.

The turbines look futuristic compared to windmills of old with the three blades that are aerodynamic. They do have some similarities, but not the old world charm; however they are much more efficient for the needs of today’s communities.

Photovoltaic Solar Panels Made Easy - How They Work And How They Are Made

Creating photovoltaic solar panels is by no means an easy task, even the technically minded may find it a challenging feat to assemble from scratch.  It is a relatively new innovation in harvesting the Sun’s energy and has only been around for around 60 years. So there is not that much information on the subject and modification and improvement of the technology is an ever constant. With this said there are two ways that the average person can create photovoltaic solar panels. These methods can be termed semi-DIY and full-DIY. Creating photovoltaic solar panels from scratch will obviously require more work.  In a nutshell here are the few basic steps required to create a fully functional solar panel.

Firstly, you will need to obtain raw copper sheeting and then heat it for around half an hour.  This is to form a layer of copper oxide on the sheet’s surface.  After it cools, it should be kept along with non-oxidized copper sheeting.  A solution of salt water must also be added and the sheeting should be submerged in a split-proof glass panel.  The wiring would then need to be fixed and the mounting jacks put in place.  A normal household will need a number of these panels to ensure that enough energy is produced. These of course are just the beginnings of constructing photovoltaic solar panels.
